I called my attorney today to inquire about this and he told me that one-third to one-fourth of the applications that he has filed in July are yet to receive the FP notices and he asked me not to worry about it.
Hope he is true and that we will be getting the FP notices soon.
I will keep you all updated

Called the service center.Muiltiple times.Opened SR twice still no FP yet.
Mine is a NSC->TSC case.

Very strange i mail my I-485 on July 19th and got my receipts and check cashed. But I see other peoples who mailed July 2nd and they are still waiting for receipt? Why is that? Does not make sense.

Received the physical card in mail today. Postage stamp is dated 22nd aug. My approval notice email was on 19th Aug from TSC.

Folks, when you sent the package(s) did you all opted to have some one sign the package(s) when they receive the package(s)? If you did, will it be possible that there is no one there to sign the package at USCIS when they receive the package(s) and USPS will wait for 5 days and since no one picked up the package(s) they will return it back to us?

Lawyer says that he has received AP last week for both of us.
Not very certain of his claims,untill i see the documents.

I'm not sure from where you are getting this impression of 'Utopia' ? We are 100% aware about the hostile & non cooperative enviornment around us. But what I'm trying to say is while we are not a favourable enviornment, we could/should still ask for things that may not attract any anti-imm... attention. Why would exepmting a person from country cap, who's been in the wait for 5 years, should see opposition, as far as we are not asking exemption from Visa number. Why should lifting country cap temporarily see opposition when we are not asking lifting cap on total green card numbers. Also you may think , you may lie low and be safe. t is a wrong impression, as lawmakers of this country are very observant and aware people. If they were to harm us, they'll do it anyway. You can't hide from them...
Some people are floating in Utopia.
Most of us are here on on the ground.
Keep watching the forums and see how many denials have been posted and we are just at the beginning stages... There are many more denials; revocations; dol audits, arrests coming.
While all this is going on; you can continue to push the envelope and try to increase EB greencards, get rid of country quota and loosen up everything.

My husband also got welcome e-mail mentioning about ADIT processing but when he received his card there was no information regarding ADIT processing, should we do anything about it? We have no clue, please help!!!

Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

My wife's 485/EAD/AP checks got cashed today. Biometric check not cashed yet. Although when I enter the receipt number in the USCIS website, couldn't find the case . :confused:
All receipts number(from back of check) start with SRCxxxxxx, which means Texas i guess.
All of us should be getting the receipts soon. Hang on.

We finally got the CPO email for my wife and I today morning.
Had done all the follow-up like SRs, Infopass, Congressman inquiry. Not sure what worked.
After 10 years, we are finally greened. I sincerely hope for everyone who is current to be greened in time.

I have read in these forumns that USCIS wasted around 11,000 visas in 2007. The way things go, they will waste another 10,000 visas during this year also.
Stopping this wastage should be our #1 priority. But nobody seems to care about this point. Even Murthy during her discussions with USCIS does not seem to be talking about this wastage. I wonder she is even aware of this problem. May be the lawyers are very happy to extend EAD for each of us for eternity.
As per murthy bulletin, EB3 India might become unavailable or will stay where it is.. If i interpret correctly. Looks like EB3 will remain the same. Very disappointing.

no it will not be voilation of the law at all. consider this scenario thats been going on for the last 30+ years. For example July 2006 visa bulletin for EB2 india was jan 2003 and the August 2006 visa bulletin for EB2 india was unavailable. EB2 india visa numbers might have already been used up when the August 2006 visa bulletin was released but they still accepted the AOS petitions filed until the end of July 2006, they did not issue an updated visa bulletin or a revised visa bulletin saying eb2 india numbers are used up and they will not accept eb2 india aos applications, they continued accpeting AOS applications until the end of july 2006.
If you have the patience you can go through the visa bulletin archieves and find many such examples. The point is for the last 30+ years USCIS\DOS accepted applications according to the visa bulletin even when visa numbers were used up, they could have just followed the same precedent that they themselves set for the last 30+ years and accepted the applications this time as well without issuing a revised visa bulletin. I am no legal expert but that is how i see it.
