Buddy, it looks like its only you and me remaining who has not received the FP notice. For me its been 30 days since opening SR and nothing. We are the unfortunate ones who have not only not received FP but our application are in TSC , where opening an SR is of no use.
I am July 2 filer (@TSC), still waiting for FP notice. Got I-485 receipt (ND Aug 27), and approved EAD and AP. Did not call for SR yet.

This is great but not at all enough, If major news and print media does not cover this, than this effort will go waste. If it gets unreported, than we have ourselves to blame. The whole point is for this to get covered nationally. Your local news and print media needs to be made aware, if it gets printed enough times, it will be picked up in major news channels. So please email the story, make the reporters aware of this. I know, we have a lot of us that we can write, copy paste the same message. I have a feeling it is going to make a great news story, just want to be doubly sure.

As I say in 2. above, the employer who filed your I-140 should have intent, *at I-140 filing time*, to hire you in the future. 6. Again, it's wrong to assume that "most of full time exempt jobs in this country are permanent in nature." And even if they were permanent, in what sense?
I think we're running into into two issues here. The first one is related to semantics--i.e., what constitutes a "permanent" job? The second one is the *inference/assumption* that, because because I-140 requires you to be on a permanent, FT job (=sponsoring employer has "intent" to hire you in the future), your employment under AC21 provision should be "permanent".

The receipt no. had SRC***** in it and when i looked it up online i saw a note stating " your applicaiton is with our Texas Center". I did send it to NSC on Jul 2.
I understand that. What I wanted to know was what number you have? SRC or LIN? And also to confirm, if it was cashed by TSC? and not the case that it was cashed by NSC and then scheduled to be transfer to TSC?

I think we should have a poll for DC rally and it should be on IV home page so that every visitor know about it and poll.
There are a lot of people in DC like me. The permissions depend on which part of DC we want to rally.
Do we want to rally around the capitol meet congressmen and senators in the immigration sub committee?
Do we want to go to offices of USCIS and DOS and request to consider the first VB?
As some one has said, there has to be a poll on the home page and if we have to tip off media ahead.

Great news: IV core is supporting the flower campaign - see this thread (http://immigrationvoice.org/forum/showthread.php?t=6191). :)
We have until tonight to place in the orders so that the flowers can be delivered on Tuesday.
Everyone who kept the faith - thanks and lets continue sending emails or calling people to let them know about it.
People who said that they will send the flowers only if IV core supports it - please send flowers asap.
