    Two things..........

I'm sure you can put your point across without bandying about your expertise in the English language.

your juvenile logic about the USCIS deciding how important your work is can be extended to how much you get paid too. How about demanding that you be paid equal to CEO's of fortune 100's!

And finally you still want to live in the US

Exactly... there is no such thing as LOW HANGING BALLS.... they shuld be fair to everyone... this is just a case of discrimination... first make all these useless categoreis... EB-1, eb2 blah blah..... i mean cummon who the fuck are they to decide how important my work is.... or under what category it falls... i thought the americans considered all work equal.. and respected everyone... well that was my impression before coming here... anyways.... so much fucking hipocrisy....

I am wondering none of these senators who responded as of now understand our request for adding the provision of recapturing unused visas. Please read below response from IOWA senator and not even one word about our request.

I appreciate you taking the time to share with me your views regarding S. 729, the Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors Act. The views of my fellow Iowans are an essential component of my decision making process as a Member of Congress.

As you may know, Senator Richard Durbin introduced S. 729 on March 26, 2009. This legislation would allow unlawful immigrants who entered the U.S. as minors to gain eligibility for higher education benefits based on state residence, unless a U.S. citizen is eligible for the same benefits. S. 729 has been referred to the Senate Committee on Judiciary. You will be interested to know that Congressman Howard Berman introduced H.R. 1751, the American Dream Act, on March 26, 2009, which would create a similar law. H.R. 1751 has been referred to the House Committee on Judiciary and the House Committee on Education and Labor. Please be assured that I will keep your views in mind should the full House consider this issue during the 111th Congress.

Our nation faces many challenges, and economic recovery is vital if we are to meet them. As a senior member of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, I will continue building upon the job creation opportunities that I have delivered to the 3rd District in order to expand commerce, spur business development, and provide economic opportunity to all. I periodically provide electronic updates on issues I think my constituents might be interested in. If you would like to receive the E-newsletter, please sign up at my Web Site at Congressman Leonard Boswell : Home (http://boswell.house.gov). As always, please feel free to contact me or my office if ever you think we may be of assistance.

    Sincerely,

    Leonard L. Boswell
    Member of Congress

I have a electronic mail from them with the 140 receipt Notice (as PDF)
from USCIS.. I took the LIN number from there and Queries USCIS - they says USCIS received my App on May 15th and under processing....

I took a Print out of that 140 receipt Notice and will attach with 485 Application... My approval will not come before Jan-Feb 2008.

Just wanted to let you know, if your 140 is pending, you will have to submit the receipt notice and also the copy of labor cert showing the PD. Read page 4 below the NSC mailing address.

Sent on Jun 29th. I don't know when it has reached. My dates were available in June. I am hoping it should have reached Jun 30th.

Anyone know if they accept packages on Saturday?

I'm in very similar situation. My dates were available for June as well. My HR/Attorneys did this long and painful bureaucratic process. We have an internal website which says that my case was filed on Jun-29th. Dont know what the fuck that means. Whether it was sent on 29th or received on 29th? Couldnt get HR to answer.Dont have direct communication lines with Attorneys... If its sent on 29th, does USCIS take packages on Saturday or Sunday? If they take only on Monday, will they throw it out because it reached in July? Oh well, just have to wait and see...

Applying EB PD but using Visa number from FB Quota would be a awesome. Not sure what complications this may cause on the FB side. This seems like a visa-leak (like memory leak) scenario from FB. This will put GC Holders dependents at a disadvantaged position as compared to us who don't have GC yet because EB PD will always be ahead to FB PD due to 'Visa-Leak'.

I agree: you should take legal advice from as many attorneys as possible. In my experience with multiple attorneys on these topics (i.e., self-employed vs. W2 on EAD, and "filing" AC21), I got conflicting pieces of advice. So the only resources I could base my thinking on are USCIS and IRS.

    Supreet -

I strongly dispute that. I encourage you to consult an attorney before taking any action.

AC-21 job must be "permanent and full-time" just like I-140. Simple. Infact, please put your question in attorney forum and get it confirmed right there.

I would prefer if you didn't edit my replies. Of course its each persons preference to think his posts are ideas and others are rants.
Lets delete posts that are not relevant to this thread.

My friend, there is a LOT of difference between the words "rant" and "idea". It is very difficult to confuse between the two:

    rant (rnt)
    v. ranted, ranting, rants
    v.intr.
To speak or write in an angry or violent manner; rave.
    v.tr.
To utter or express with violence or extravagance: a dictator who ranted his vitriol onto a captive audience.
    n.
    1. Violent or extravagant speech or writing.
    2. A speech or piece of writing that incites anger or violence: "The vast majority [of teenagers logged onto the Internet] did not encounter recipes for pipe bombs or deranged rants about white supremacy" (Daniel Okrent).
    3. Chiefly British Wild or uproarious merriment.

    Also:
    rant [rnt]
    vb
    1. to utter (something) in loud, violent, or bombastic tones
    2. (intr) Chiefly Scot to make merry; frolic
    n
    1. loud, declamatory, or extravagant speech; bombast
    2. Chiefly Scot a wild revel
    3. Scot an energetic dance or its tune
[from Dutch ranten to rave; related to German ranzen to gambol]
    ranter n
    ranting adj & n
    rantingly adv

    idea (-d)
    n.
    1. Something, such as a thought or conception, that potentially or actually exists in the mind as a product of mental activity.
    2. An opinion, conviction, or principle: has some strange political ideas.
    3. A plan, scheme, or method.
    4. The gist of a specific situation; significance: The idea is to finish the project under budget.
    5. A notion; a fancy.
    6. Music A theme or motif.
    7. Philosophy
    a. In the philosophy of Plato, an archetype of which a corresponding being in phenomenal reality is an imperfect replica.
    b. In the philosophy of Kant, a concept of reason that is transcendent but nonempirical.
    c. In the philosophy of Hegel, absolute truth; the complete and ultimate product of reason.
    8. Obsolete A mental image of something remembered.

Everybody has been waiting for his/her green card and congratulations to all those who has got their GC. On the other hand it is really unfair and to some extent unethical on the part of USICS not follow a fair system.
There are several people in 2004, 2005 who have been paitently waiting for their turn only to see that people behind them getting approved.

You are talking about 2004, 05. What about 2001, 2002 and 2003? There are so many people with 2002 priority dates still waiting just like me. Mine is 02/2002

SunnySurya and Refugee_New, I agree with you. But it is the style of USCIS. But there are several unfairness going on, but the ones hurting more to these cases:
    - Old EB2 cases (2001..2003)
    - New EB2 cases (2004 and 2005)
    - EB2 TSC processing Vs NSC processing
    - Most of old EB3 Cases
    - Every year loosing Visas
    - Kids aging out
    - And so on...

The list can easily grow up. These are so much complicated that several civil rights activist put together can not get them fixed.
