What does ADIT processing means any idea is that we need to go to local USCIS office for the interview?
Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

Guys,
I never beleive in polls. The questions are always framed in such a way so that max people go and answer the way the poll wants....example below
Q1 ... Do you as an American support CIR for resolving immigration issues this country faces ?
Q2 ... Do you as an American support CIR so that illegal immigrants be a Citizen of this country ?
Looks at the above two questions, I think for Q1 lot of people would say "Yes" and "No" for the Q2, so I never beleive on the polls , the questions are always framed to get the answer the poll wants.

Guys inorder for DOS or DHS or USCIS to get the message they will FIRST and FOREMOST have to understand WHO Gandhi is. For that we will have to attach a few pages of documentation about Mahatma Gandhi. By the time the message gets to the correct person's hands AND he/she understands the true meaning of the message, the person will think we insulted them, coz the the flowers will be dead and dried up and STINKY.
Folks... the flowers are just one part of the campaign. The other part is where we notify every major news media about what we are trying to do (we will mail them on July 9th). That is where we let people know what we are trying to achieve. The flowers are a means to an end. Something to attract the media.
We hope that the media will cover this event since it is so unorthodox.

Did anyone see Byron Dorgan's (Democratic Senator from North Dakota)interview on Stephen Colbert last night? This guy just wrote an anit-outsourcing book (http://www.amazon.com/Take-This-Job-Ship-Brain-Dead/dp/031235522X --no I am not plugging his book!) and he is full of 'they stole our jobs' rhetoric. This is typical outsourcing/globalization-bashing democratic mentality and it's disturbing to seeit still persists 2 years after Presedential elections.
Am I the only one who thinks that if Democratics takes over the House, we are screwed?

It took more or less 30 days to process my filing, and hopefully you will see that happening as well.

Okay guys.. now the journey is over for me. I finally got my physical cards in mail. for some reason I never got CPO email/text. All I got decision and post decision emails. Since it had been couple of weeks since decision I was getting uneasy (because of no CPO).. but I got physical cards in mail today !

But i agree with the post above .. we are really stuck between a rock anda hard place on this issue..If we ask them to move all spouse visa numbers to Family , which is how it should be based on the legislations you are quoting, then our partners will have to wait for more number of years than EB categories. It does not matter that EB3 is now U. my feeling is in the long run EB is a better category than FB....
Also it could present more issue for all those aged out folks who are at least in EB where the gravy train seems to be inching unlike the FB train... And we don't even need to scenario plan the FB if all our spouse appln goes in to taht bucket.. But there is an advantage.. the primary applicant could get their GC cards faster (I am assuming) and this probably may be truer (if there is anything like that) for India and China, where usually the EB applicantion includes spouse/child visa reequest as well..

Will I need passport size photos at the time of landing (like for applying PR or any other form) and if required how many photos are required.

IV effort needs 50 thousand dollars to make sure we can meet our immediate needs and also make a big impact via this advocacy day event. There are several large and small expenses like booking hotel conference room near Capitol hill for organizing the event/situation room, Organizing reception for lawmakers, their staffers, and administration officials to attend, creating advocacy packets for each appointment taken, advocacy firm fees for helping out with a large event like this etc. We can plan more ideas like Press briefing event, full page ads in national newspapers if we can have sufficient resources. This event will most certainly bring our issues to the national center stage and help us get much needed immigration relief in the months ahead. I used AVR (Automatic Revalidation Rule) to get back to US. If u have an expired stamp and a valid I-797, u can show ur PP alongwith original 797 and they'll let u in. But if u have used AP to re-enter before, u will need to use AP to enter US after ur landing. That being said, I know atleast 5 cases in the recent past who came back to US successfully using AP after their Canadian landing. I agree its a risk but most of the cases cud be hear-say. Just act innocent and that u dint know about the risk if at all u get questioned. Again, when the law permits u, why shud they question? Also, u still dont have ur US GC in ur hands...so let them know of it in a nice way if they harass u. Tell them that once u get ur US GC u will give up ur Canadian PR.
It is easier said than done. When you are entering you are at the discretion of IO and you do not know all the laws. In this particular case, the people tried to convince IO that they were planning to let canada PR go once they receive US GC but the IO was determined to revoke their AOS. So there is nothing really you can do at that point in time.
