Googling the company name brings up some interesting information. The company seems to be well-established and looks like it has some ties to the federal government in terms of clientele..

maybe there are not enough EB3- I cases in the queue ;) ..well one of my friends did get his GC during last fiasco ..eb3 - I, pd 2003. ofcourse there is no unity ..it is every man for himself (And hence save as much as you can while you enjoy life)..and hence don't worry too much ..GC will come when it has to (my friend told me that once ..and I found those words comforting) ...see few of the threads nearby ..people are content talking about dots (I guess since they know nothing will ever happen due to our actions :-) ..and I sort of agree).
I also guess there are not much cases of EB3 left, atleast till PD dec 2002. Jun filers who ever did not get their GC last summer or fall will be waiting.

ok. Assuming BILL pass during the lame-duck session... what is timeline for it take effect? I believe the president has to signed it and it take 90 days from that date to be effective? Experts?

Yes, that is one of the parts I loved in this bill.
We have to go to a consulate in our home country to get VISA stamping.
1000's of us are affected. SKIL bill Section 402 is addressing this.

Yesterday, My lawyer sent me receipts for my EAD, AP and my wife AP.
Now I am waiting for my 485 receipt and my wife 485,EAD receipts. How it is possible without 485 receipts, I got EAD and AP receipts.
Any idea?

Please keep in mind that the US healthcare system is for-profit. That means that there are too many bureaucratic, legal and business reasons for either treating or not treating the patient. There might be cures or procedures or therapies out there, that your doctor or hospital is not interested in because its not covered by your insurance as it is labelled as "Experimental".
Insurance companies are like maggots. They love premiums but when it comes to claims, they try to swipe as many cures and procedures as possible under the rug of "Experimental treatment" so that they dont have to pay.
I would suggest that you do all you can to seek immigration advise but please consider going to India for a month and getting a second opinion from Apollo or AIIMS or such high-quality Hospitals.
I would not trust the for-profit, suck-all-blood-dry, deny-care and inhumane healthcare system of this country where the care-givers and the insurance companies are in collusion with each other to maximize profits and do whatever it takes to maximize profits even when it means that some people die and others go bankrupt even after paying insurance.
Please make sure you try Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai they specialize in Cancer treatment http://tmc.gov.in/.

My 485 application was filed with NSC on June 4th, 2007. I know it is too early to expect receipt notice.
Who will receive the original approval notice?. Attorney or me?. Who will receive the FP notice?.

Today I spoke to a Representative who deals with immigration issue at Sen Mike Dewine's (R-OH) office. I spoke to him for 15 minutes to understand what he and his senator think about this CIR.
Here is he and his senator feels about this bill. It is difficult for him to say that when CIR bill will be introduced in senate floor . It depend on Majority and Minority leaders to decide. Majority leader told to the media that he will introduce before the end of the may, he is mostly consistent, but there are several bills where he has committed a timeline and till today it is not on the floor.
However he told that once CIR pass, legal immigration is already taken care of, but if it does not passes there are bills like SKIL which will be put before the floor. But CIR has to fail or pass before you see this SKILL bill on the floor.
This might be kind of tricky. CIR might neither pass nor fail in the Senate but just being shelved. If that is the case, SKIL might never come to the floor

I got an email last night saying EAD card ordered on Sep8 which is a saturday.. This morning I got two emails again saying that same card was ordered on Sep 10. However this is the spouse's ead and I see the lud as 9/10 on 5 of our 485/ead/ap apps. However spouse AP (whose ead was ordered) still has 9/5. I don't understand y they approve one and take time for the other. I think their system has some issues...
Did ur case status say 'ordered' before you got the ead in mail?

First and foremost, DO NOT CONTACT Sen. Cornyn's office.
We are privy to some information and we were told that Sen. Cornyn might introduce this to the senate today. When we say might, it means that there is a good chance he may not do so too!
And introducing just means that he will get a number assigned to it. It will NOT be debated today. The debate timeframe is decided by the majority and minority leaders Frist and Reid respectively.
We just wanted to share with you what we learned. When we learn more, we will let you guys know. For right now, all we know is in the first post.
And FYI, there are some decent provisions in this bill especially related to STEM. Also presents a solution to retrogression wherein Adjustment of Status would be possible in spite of no visa being available.
