Not sure if its a BREAK or no Visa numbers...
There were a couple of approvals today from TSC by looking at the other site.But slowed down a lot. Maybe USCIS is taking a break this last week and preparing for the next month:)

True, like I still have a EDD letter talks about my first case for GC was filled on Aug. 2001 as wanted to immigrant but what is the use, as I have to file new one as even if I have transferred my employment to my parent companies client, USCIS has no rule to transfer labor process or priority dates until has approved i140, they requires to file new one which surly takes time. And I am sure mostly people completed even 10 years of working waiting for GC have the same issue.

What happened to EB3-I, call to action ? I sent out the letters ,but what is the follow-up ? Looks like everyone is interested only in EB2 India and nobody is doing anything about EB3-India.

Mailed to NSC on: 1st June

Received at NSC on: June 4th
140 approved from : NSC
Receipt Date : Still Waiting

Do I need to apply for renewal now? How sooner or later we can apply for renewal?
You can file for renewal beginning 120 days before your EAD/AP expires.

EADplease,
I called them and reached an IO officer and told her that I see my checks are cashed and there is a receipt number behind the check but its illegible and can she confirm the numbers for me. She asked for DOB, address, full name etc. and then gave me the receipt numbers for EAD, AP and AOS.
But if your checks are cashed then the receipt notice must be in the mail.:)

As you have efiled your EAD the FP you have received might not necessarily mean the FP for 485, it could be just for EAD. Gurus any comment!!
I am a July 2nd Filer, and have not gone through FP till now.
I e filed on 11th May for EAD /AP renewal for myself and spouse.
LUD on 14 th May. Receipt notices received 16 th may.
Got FP notice only for myself on 19 th May.
(Still waiting for spouse's FP notice)

There was no LUDs all the way and they did not ask me to do FPs. FPs were done in 10/2007 for I485.

I hear ya and feel for you Nag. That is why I posted a thread inquiring about ability to file for AOS/benefits after I-140 even when PD is not current. I believe this is an achievable administrative fix, however with almost everyone applying in July/Aug, this may be on the back burner in the foreseeable future.

The question is if one has worked as a contractor and got a employment RFE and the company provided a letter stating a full time consultant job, has USCIS rejected such a response?
I have not heard of any rejection. But, the fact that you're receving 1099-MISC means that you're not full time. In fact, you're not even an employee for the company. If you receive an RFE, I assume you'll need to produce paystubs (which the OP don't have). In addition, you won't even get 1099-MISC until the year end. In short, no proof to overturn RFE.
IF the company can produce such a letter, technically it is a fraud since the OP is NOT a full-time employee. Replying to RFE with no proof and fraud intend won't fly.

I received FP notices for myself and spouse on Saturday, Dec 22 for FP at the Charlotte office on Jan 11.

My case transferred from TSC to VSC to TSC, I am from charlotte too. Did you had to do anything to get FP? My application reached USCIS on august 3rd. We got all except FP.

"EB-2 India. This category is expected to remain unchanged or to move very slowly forward (by a week or so) in the short-term. Guys wake up and fight to make the porting rules veryu strong if not stop porting. The rule should be if I140 for porting is denied then the applicatnt should loose his/her initial EB3 priority date also as he /she has indicated that he/she is no longer working in the position as described in EB3 labor. This will make sure that fradulent applicants cannot port from EB3 to EB2.
P.S: I know I will get thousands of REDs. I do not care... EB2 I guys wake up.. Time is running out.. EB2 I will very quickly become same as EB3I.

I'm not saying that "H-1B job is permanent:" you're inferring again! I hold that *no* job in this country is "permanent" (legally speaking). My question to you was if no H1B is "permanent" (as you opine), then how can you prove that the AC20 job on H1B is or isn't "permanent?" So if that job is not "permanent," how do you convince/mention that in as RVE-EVL?

I was scared to take a trip to my country thinking that I would get my FP notice while I am away..but am back from my vacation and still no sign of FP.
I called the center..and the IO told me that they are within their processing times and they have upto 111 days to send me the FP notice?!!!
I had opened an SR on 3rd Oct...but of absolutely no use! I also got a letter from them stating that they are within their processing times.
any idea how to solve this mess?
